LCBT – College Update

Update before Christmas 2020

Dear Learners, Parents/Guardians,

As we approach the festive season, the Principal and Senior Management Team would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your families a Merry Christmas and hope that you are all able to relax and enjoy the well-deserved break over the Christmas period.

Whilst we appreciate that this is a time for happiness, we also need to remind everyone to be aware of the current situation we find ourselves in, and to do all we can to keep ourselves safe and free from the virus.

It is important that we continue to keep a safe distance, wear a mask when in a public place and wash our hands regularly.

As we are required to update the Department for Education of any positive cases of Covid-19 amongst our learner community, we would like to take this opportunity to update you of our reporting procedure whilst the college building is closed for the holidays.

To report a positive case of COVID-19 for an LCBT learner:

Email: lcbt.attendance@lcbt.co.uk

Please provide:

–          the learner’s full name

–          the group number

–          the date of their test, if possible please also include a screen shot of the test result.

–          the date of their last attendance at the College

If you have any queries about COVID during the holidays, these can be emailed to: lcbt.attendance@lcbt.co.uk – we cannot guarantee that you will receive a response to queries during the period between 19/12/20 and 3/1/21, but will ensure that we reply when the college opens again on 4/1/21.

We will be monitoring this email between 19/12/20 and 24/12/20 specifically so that we can track and trace in the event of a positive case being reported.
