Beauty Therapy | Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma
Designed to give you complete knowledge of Beauty Therapy, the course covers the essential skills and techniques to progress towards a career in the Beauty Therapy, Make-up or Nail Industries. The modules that you will study, taught by industry professionals, will ensure you develop yourself professionally and personally. The range of skills taught will leave you ready for employment with many of the leading companies we work alongside. Successful completion of the Level 3 Advanced Beauty and Spa Therapy Technical course allows you to progress onto advanced courses such as aesthetics and management.
As an ever-growing industry, Beauty Therapy is one of the UK’s largest sectors. All our tutors have industry experience, alongside regular CPD training, ensure a supportive, encouraging, on trend training environment. LCBT’s Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma in Beauty Therapy covers the essential knowledge and understanding needed to help you start your career as a therapist. The units that you study will provide you with the skills to perform many of the beauty treatments on offer in salons and spas across the UK. Units include massage, face and body electricals, dry spa treatments as well as anatomy and physiology (A&P). You will also study an additional unit in hot stone therapy. You are assessed through a series of mocks, before a final synoptic practical exam and theory exam at the end of your course.
You will be provided with a uniform to wear whilst you are at college and a beauty kit that you will own to support you completing your practical treatments and to be used personally.
The entry requirements for the Level 3 Technical in Beauty Therapy are a strong passion in beauty, successful interview and initial assessment. Potential learners need to be able to demonstrate dedication and commitment to learning and have aspirations to work and progress into the industry. Learners can complete this course if they have successfully completed a Level 2 Technical in Beauty Therapy with a positive reference. Learners also need to be between the ages of 16-18 and have a Level 4/C or above in English and maths.
This course provides the essential knowledge and understanding needed to help you advanced your career as a Therapist. The units that you study will provide you with the skills to perform many of the beauty treatments on offer in salons across the UK.

Upon completion of your course you will achieve a Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma in Beauty and Spa Therapy. This qualification will enable you to work as a qualified therapist in the industry and you will be eligible to take out insurance to complete all treatments you are qualified in.
Successful completion of this course will mean you are a fully qualified Beauty Therapist – you can find work in spas, salons or on cruise ships. You may also want to become a mobile therapist. - OVERSEAS STUDENTS: International Students outside of the EEA do not qualify for concessionary or non-concessionary fees and may not qualify for an Advanced Learner Loan will be required to pay the full cost of tuition fees. Evidence of your legality to study in the UK will be required. LCBT is unable to provide any assistance with visa application processes and reserves the right to refuse enrolment on to the course.
