Facial Electrotherapy

The Level 3 Award in Electrical facials is designed to allow you to advance your skills as a facial therapist. You will learn skills and techniques to allow you to perform electrical treatments and be able to progress into further roles in the Beauty industry. It will also fulfil the access requirement for you to enrol onto a Level 4 Diploma in Aesthetic practice depending on other prior qualifications.

The course will cover health and safety, anatomy and physiology and a range of facial electrical treatments including Galvanic, Vacuum suction, High Frequency, Faradic and Micro-current. It will cover the essential theory knowledge and practical skills to be proficient in these areas.

Course Fees: £460 (Inclusive of VAT) plus £75 exam fee

Access for therapists: If you have completed a Level 3 qualification that doesn’t include facial electrical treatments you can enrol onto this course. You must have at least a Level 2 in facial practice.

Key units: Health and safety, Anatomy and physiology, Facial electrotherapy

Course content: An element of distance learning will be completed at home; you will also have theory and practical sessions at college. You will be assessed through online theory multiple choice exams and practical assessments.

Course duration: 8 days

Practical attendance requirements: It is mandatory for you to attend all practical days in an industry respected uniform.
