Course Overview
19+ CIBTAC Level 4 Diploma in Aesthetic Practice
Designed for beauty therapists wanting to advance their skills, the 19+ CIBTAC Level 4 Diploma in Aesthetic Practice develops your skills in a broad portfolio of clinical procedures for remedial treatment of the skin, including chemical peels, micro-needling and non-surgical blemish removal using electrocautery techniques. You will also learn the core knowledge required by Health Education England for aesthetic practitioners to carry out these procedures.
Practical learning takes place in LCBT’s own Salon where you will have the opportunity to practice your skills with real clients, as well as modelling for other students and sourcing your own models for practical training and assessments.

Enrichment
You’ll gain practical industry experience and have the opportunity to attend or take part in beauty industry shows, events and careers fairs to help build your knowledge, experience and professional network.
Assessment
You will complete up to 15 days of practicals and up to 6 case studies, as well as a final theory and practical exam for each unit. You will be required to complete an e-learning module, workbook, multiple-choice test and assignments for each unit prior to booking onto practical days. You must have the knowledge and capability to undertake self-guided research and assignments including accurate citations using Harvard Referencing.

Entry Requirements
Aged 19+
Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification including a facial electrotherapy module, or CIBTAC Level 3 Certificate in the Principles of Cosmetic Practice.
Ofqual-regulated facial skincare qualification or unit
Proficient in English reading, writing, listening and speaking. For overseas applicants, we require IELTS 6.5 in all components or equivalent.
5 GCSEs at grade 4-9 or equivalent, including English and Maths, plus one of the following: one A-Level or equivalent; a Level 3 accredited qualification in a relevant subject, e.g. Beauty Therapy; Access course; Skills for Health bridging programme.
Overseas Applicants
Evidence of your legal right to study in the UK will be required. LCBT is unable to provide any assistance with visa applications.
Important Information
We are a diverse college and you may be in a group with students of all genders. You will be required to perform and receive all treatments with students on your course. If you cannot have certain treatments performed for medical reasons please ensure you let us know when you apply.

On successful completion of this course you will gain a CIBTAC Level 4 Diploma in Aesthetic Practice and will be qualified to perform the clinical procedures learned as part of the course.
