COURSE OVERVIEW
If you want a long term career in the Beauty Industry and be a part of a £5.7 billion economy, then upon successful completion of this course you will become a fully qualified Beauty Therapist with opportunities in all the top Salons, Spa’s Health Clubs, Hotels and Cruise Ships internationally.
This course offers a direct entrance on to a Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Treatments programme with no experience or learning at Level 2 required. You will be taught a range of a range of units that will develop the skills and knowledge required to be a fully qualified beauty therapist. This Level 3 qualification offers the learning of facial skin care, waxing techniques, manicures and pedicures as well as more complex treatments such as facial skincare, massage, microdermabrasion and Indian head massage which most salons now offer; this qualification is essential for any adult wanting to pursue a career as a beauty therapist.
You will be provided with a uniform to wear whilst you are at college and a beauty kit that you will own to support you completing your practical treatments and to be used personally.

A good level of English, successful interview and initial assessment. Potential learners need to be able to demonstrate dedication and commitment to learning and have aspirations to work and progress into the industry. STUDY MODE
Typically between 2-4 days a week which would normally include some weekend and evening.
On successful completion of this course you will become a fully qualified Beauty Therapist. You will gain the skills and knowledge to be a beauty therapist as well as develop yourself both professionally and personally, learning a range of beauty therapy techniques which will leave you ready for employment. Some learners may be expected to complete GCSE’s or functional skills as part of their qualification dependent on their previous qualifications.

- Provide Eyelash and Brow Treatments
- Remove Hair using Waxing Techniques
- Apply Microdermabrasion
- Monitor and Maintain Health and safety Practice in the Salon
- Provide Pedicure Treatments
- Provide Manicure Treatments
- Provide Massage using Pre-Blended Aromatherapy Oils

Upon completion of your course you will achieve a ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Treatments. This qualification will enable you to work as a qualified therapist in the industry and you will be eligible to take out insurance to complete all treatments you are qualified in.
Successful completion of this course will mean you are a fully qualified Beauty Therapist – you can find work in spas, salons or on cruise ships. You may also want to become a mobile therapist. LCBT’s Job Shop has hundreds of employment opportunities and we will help you start your dream career. You may also like to study an additional Level 3 qualification.

Progression can also be into management and many Therapists then go on to open their own businesses. We can help advise you how to do that too!

- Advanced Learner Loan – £3,345
- (£155 Required for Uniform and Kit to use in the salon and keep)
- Full Cost – £3,595
- (Inclusive of Uniform and Kit to use in the salon and keep)
- OVERSEAS STUDENTS: International Students outside of the EEA do not qualify for concessionary or non-concessionary fees and may not qualify for an Advanced Learner Loan will be required to pay the full cost of tuition fees. Evidence of your legality to study in the UK will be required. LCBT is unable to provide any assistance with visa application processes and reserves the right to refuse enrolment on to the course.
The London College of Beauty Therapy holds a loans agreement and are unable to offer an AEB fully-funded places. If you are aged 19-23 and do not already hold a full level 3 qualification, you may be eligible to exercise your entitlement to full funding, please visit the National Careers Service to obtain information.
