Introduction: Designed to advance your skills as a facial therapist, on this course you will learn skills and techniques to perform electrical treatments and be able to progress into further roles in the beauty industry. Completing this course also fulfils the access requirement for you to enrol onto our Level 4 Diploma in Aesthetic Practice (providing you meet all other entry requirements).
The course will cover health and safety, anatomy and physiology and a range of facial electrical treatments including Galvanic, Vacuum Suction, High Frequency, Faradic and Micro-current. It will cover the essential theory knowledge and practical skills to be proficient in these areas. Units include:

- Anatomy & Physiology
- Facial Electrotherapy
An element of distance learning will be completed at home; you will also have theory and practical sessions at college. You will be assessed through both online theory multiple choice exams and practical assessments. It is mandatory for you to attend all practical days in an industry-respected uniform.
Access for therapists: If you have completed a Level 3 qualification that doesn’t include facial electrical treatments you can enrol onto this course. You must have at least a Level 2 in facial practice.
