This course is a direct route to a career in beauty therapy for those aged 19+ with no experience, and includes the necessary Level 2 units so that you don’t have to spend extra time and money to become fully qualified as a beauty therapist.

The 19+ Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy is designed especially for those aged 19+ who want to take a direct route to a career in beauty therapy in the shortest time possible, without any prior experience or qualifications. Your course is embedded with the required Level 2 modules, which means you don’t have to spend additional time and money to gain a Level 2 qualification first. You’ll learn a broad range of basic techniques such as waxing, manicures and pedicures as well as more complex treatments such as facial skincare, massage, microdermabrasion and Indian head massage.
On successful completion of this course you will be fully qualified to work as a beauty therapist in a salon, spa, health club, hotel or even on a cruise ship. Practical learning takes place in LCBT’s own salon, where you will have the opportunity to practice your skills with real clients. We will provide you with a uniform to wear whilst you are at college and your own beauty kit to practice treatments.

Evidence of your legal right to study in the UK will be required. LCBT is unable to provide any assistance with visa applications.
Important Information
We are a diverse college and you may be in a group with students of all genders. You will be required to perform and receive all treatments with students on your course. If you cannot have certain treatments performed for medical reasons please ensure you let us know when you apply.

Upon completion of your course you will achieve the Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy which qualifies you to work as a beauty therapist in a salon or spa, or even set up your own business as a self-employed beauty therapist.
