This course is a direct route to a career in beauty therapy for those aged 19+ with no experience, and includes the necessary Level 2 units so that you don’t have to spend extra time and money to become fully qualified as a beauty therapist.

The 19+ Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy is designed especially for those aged 19+ who want to take a direct route to a career in beauty therapy in the shortest time possible, without any prior experience or qualifications.
You’ll learn a broad range of basic techniques such as waxing, manicures and pedicures as well as more complex treatments such as facial skincare, massage, microdermabrasion and Indian head massage. On successful completion of this course you will be fully qualified to work as a beauty therapist in a salon, spa, health club, hotel or even on a cruise ship.
Your course includes the required Level 2 units free of charge, which means you don’t have to spend additional time and money to gain a Level 2 qualification first!
Practical learning takes place in LCBT’s own salon, where you will have the opportunity to practice your skills with real clients. We will provide you with a uniform to wear whilst you are at college. You will need to purchase the beauty kit to practice treatments for a small fee.

You’ll gain practical industry experience and have the opportunity to attend or take part in beauty industry shows, events and careers fairs to help build your knowledge, experience and professional network.

Evidence of your legal right to study in the UK will be required. LCBT is unable to provide any assistance with visa applications.
We are a diverse college and you may be in a group with students of all genders. You will be required to perform and receive all treatments with students on your course. If you cannot have certain treatments performed for medical reasons please ensure you let us know when you apply.

Upon completion of your course you will achieve the Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy which qualifies you to work as a beauty therapist in a salon or spa, or even set up your own business as a self-employed beauty therapist.
