Mastering Hairdressing Skills With Revlon Professional & Fenty Hair

At LCBT, our Hairdressing Diploma students gain first-hand experience from leading industry professionals. Over the past few weeks, we were thrilled to welcome experts from both Revlon Professional and Fenty Hair, who delivered inspiring masterclasses to build our students’ technical knowledge and practical hair skills. Here’s a look at what they covered:
Inside The Revlon Masterclass
We recently welcomed Revlon Professional to our campus on Fashion Street for an engaging session focusing on colour theory and the foundations of colouring techniques.
Before the masterclass, lecturers spent time preparing students, encouraging them to explore the topic, build confidence, and come ready with thoughtful questions.
Led by Rio, Revlon Educator, the theory-based lesson explored:
- Core principles of hair colour theory
- The foundations behind professional colouring techniques
- Key knowledge that will support students in their upcoming practical Revlon workshop later this year
Students took detailed notes throughout, building a strong theoretical foundation for their continued learning.
Inside The Fenty Hair Masterclass
Our Level 2 and Level 3 Hairdressing Diploma students also took part in a hands-on session with Fenty Hair. This workshop introduced students to Fenty’s professional haircare range and demonstrated effective application techniques.
The session was co-led by one of our hairdressing lecturers, who guided students through each step and ensured they gained valuable real-world skills.
