About the role 

We are seeking a Salon Manager to run our salon at the London College of Beauty and Therapy (LCBT). The Salon Department is a training environment for LCBT learners where they complete assessments and treatments on external paying clients. It is essential that all learners have the opportunity to complete all final assessments on clients. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional five-star customer service to clients who visit the salon to ensure all learners at LCBT have opportunities to complete their assessments.

The Salon Manager will lead and manage the Salon team, focusing on enhancing both client and learner experiences. Key responsibilities include overseeing bookings, handling client inquiries, updating systems, and managing stock control. Additionally, you will ensure that all health and safety processes and procedures are consistently followed and adhered to.

About you 

• You will have a Level 3 Beauty Therapy Qualification or equivalent and be willing to undertake an A1 Assessors Award if successful.
• You will have experience of working in a salon/spa environment and reaching KPI’s.
• You will have experience of managing a large team in a busy, professional salon/spa environment.
• You will have experience of providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• You will have intermediate-level Microsoft Office/computer and salon/booking software skills.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with a high level of accuracy as well as accurate data entry skills are essential for the role.
• You will have excellent communication, written, and numerical skills.
• You will be a team player with a professional and approachable attitude and be committed to the development and progression of all learners.

Salary: 

Up to £28,000 per annum, subject to qualifications and experience
