I decided to study at LCBT as you can complete your studies quicker than elsewhere and this allows you to gain employment quicker and concentrate on life after College. I love studying here and the delivery of the course, the mix of theory and practice and the 'real' working salons really help you to prepare for the working world.
I have always wanted to be a masseuse and work for myself. The courses and experience I am gaining at LCBT, combined with the support from the lecturing tream and the job shop will enable me to do this. The course is very hard work and you have to be very committed but I am looking forward to my career taking shape as a result

The beauty industry is seen as quite a female dominated vocation, as a male entering beauty therapy I was initially concerned but haven't looked back since applying.
Our college has its very own salon which is extremely helpful. Lecturers and salon receptionists help us to achieve great standards of work. The support and closeness to the lecturers is wonderful
