This intensive make up course aims to teach you knowledge and understanding of a variety of professional application techniques that will enable you to confidently produce amazing results in all aspects of special occasion make-up.
Over two days you will cover all aspects from identifying key facial features and the methods to emphasise or conceal them both with theory and practice. There will be plenty of opportunity to learn, practice current fashion trends and different styles of professional day and evening makeup. You will explore the varied range of make-up colour palette and textures that achieve long lasting effects for any special occasion.
Duration:
2 full training sessions from 9.30am – 4.30pm, taught in our dedicated make-up studio, by our professional makeup artist in groups.
Entry requirements:
No prior experience is required, though a keen interest in makeup will help students maximise on training potential.
Final Assessment:
You will work in partners to complete a final evaluation of all the special occasion application techniques.
Qualifications:
L.C.B.T Day, Evening and Special Occasion certificate The L.C.B.T Certificate is a professional UK qualification.
The course is accredited with The Beauty Guild and thus is eligible for insurance and membership benefits with the guild (www.beautyguild.com)
Course Kit included:
Class use of towels & latest salon equipment
L.C.B.T comprehensive procedure handouts
All makeup, application tools and equipment are provided for full use during your course
Dress code:
Salon uniform, soft soled shoes, hair tied back off face, light day make up, no jewellery. If you have no uniform, you can wear plain black top and plain black bottoms. (Attendance on the course will de denied if the correct attire is not worn)
Paperwork:
You will be required to fill in a Learning Agreement & provide us with Emergency Contact details before you undertake the short course. This will be provided for you when you book your placement.

Due to the success of LCBT courses places get filled very quickly and so placement is only secured once payment is received. A 50 % deposit can be paid in advance with balance due prior to start date. You can book this course by the following options:
