The programme has been designed to act as a foundation progression route to NVQ Beauty Therapy Level 2. This is your chance to experience the beauty industry at an introductory level enabling you to perform mini facial, manicures and pedicures. This is an intensive six week programme and you will have to attend college four days each week, with a commitment to full attendence (without any breaks).
During this Course you will also learn essential topics such as health and safety and team work skills.
The qualification is achieved through continuous assessment both in theory and practice. Practical assessments will be undertaken in the salon using the various methods. These could take the form of professional discussions, video clips and still photography.
A portfolio is compiled as part of the evidence for the awarding body, which will contain your projects and evidence of practical abilities.
