How do you raise the skills of your workforce in such a way that it complements their role in the business and does not interfere with the day-to-day business?
That is a question that most employers have and the solution is not always easy or dependent on skills requirements. A range of employers can have their own individual focus within a single sector, so what works for one does not suit others.
The government is committed to raising skills levels to ensure that the UK can compete in a global economy. To support this objective there are currently a number of LSC funded initiatives which can support employers and individuals. These include Train to Gain and Apprenticeships, although others are also available.

Individuals
If you are currently working as a Retail Beauty Consultant and would like to gain a Retail Beauty Consultant Diploma qualification, contact the Business Support Unit and they will be able to advise you further, you will need your employers consent to commence on the program.
If you are not working in the Beauty Retail sector but would like to be, our Careers Advisors may be able to refer you to an employer who can offer employment and support in meeting your aims and objectives.
Employers
