I looked at a few colleges but was drawn to LCBT as I knew the courses would be intensive and I didn’t have to wait for the next academic term which was great for me. I have really enjoyed all the salon time at LCBT, working on real clients has been great. But obviously winning the Student of the Year Award has been a massive highlight! It is so important that students are recognised for their achievements.

The Schools Programme gave me a valuable insight into beauty therapy and allowed me to realise that it was a career path best suited for me. Since then I have gone on to complete NVQ Level 2 and 3 and will be going to University in September to study Beauty Salon Management. The schools programme gave me the foundations I needed to do everything I have done since. I dont feel I would have the same experiences if I hadn't enrolled on the programme. 

I am having a brilliant time… if anything it has been better than my expectations. Six Senses are so great to work for they have been 100% supportive since I arrived in Abu Dhabi... I am living the dream I never thought I was able to or capable of doing in life, it makes you reflect on life, when your hear that you are a brave person and you can do anything in life if you try hard enough.

I decided to study at LCBT as you can complete your studies quicker than elsewhere and this allows you to gain employment quicker and concentrate on life after College. I love studying here and the delivery of the course, the mix of theory and practice and the 'real' working salons really help you to prepare for the working world.
